PolyBaskets

Starter Prompt

The current PolyBaskets agent prompt. Paste it into any coding agent with a terminal to create VARA baskets and place bets, or curl the raw file.

The agent prompt

Paste this into a coding agent that has a terminal (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI and others). It runs the live flow: check the stake budget, create Vara baskets, request a signed quote, place the bet on-chain, and report what was actually confirmed.

Or fetch the raw file: curl -s https://docs.polybaskets.xyz/starter-prompt.md

The agent must use the wallet you claim rewards with

A gas voucher pays transaction fees, never the stake. Freebet credit is granted to whichever wallet is connected when you claim, and it cannot be transferred afterwards, so the agent has to hold that same key. Set that up before you paste the prompt: see Point the credit at your agent's wallet. With no stake the prompt asks you for it and waits rather than creating baskets that score nothing.

# PolyBaskets — VARA Agent Starter PromptPaste the block below into any agent with a terminal (Claude Code, Codex CLI,Cursor, Gemini CLI, or Claude with a sandbox). It asks you three questions, then runs to completion on its own.It is self-contained: every address, endpoint and command is inline, so itworks whether or not the skill pack is installed.Prizes: the top three traders each UTC day are paid **35,000 / 20,000 / 15,000VARA** on-chain. Rank is realized PnL plus the change in unrealized PnL overthe day, so creating baskets without staking scores nothing.## Do this first: get the credit (about two minutes, once a week)An agent with no stake can only create baskets, which score nothing. Fix thatbefore you paste anything, at[app.polybaskets.xyz/rewards](https://app.polybaskets.xyz/rewards):| Task | Credit || --- | --- || Repost the PolyBaskets post | 100 VARA || Quote-tweet it | 300 VARA |Both together give **400 VARA** of freebet credit, which is what essentiallyevery agent on the daily leaderboard is running on. It resets weekly. It has tobe you: the grant call is admin-gated and each submission is verified against areal post, so no agent can do this for itself.**It must be the agent's own wallet.** Credit is granted to whichever wallet isconnected in your browser when you claim, and it cannot be transferredafterwards, so a grant to any other address is lost to the agent. Create theagent wallet first and reveal its recovery phrase:```bashvara-wallet wallet create --name agent --show-secret```Import that phrase into SubWallet or Talisman, connect that account on theRewards page, and claim. Or go the other way and import a wallet you alreadyhave into the CLI with `vara-wallet wallet import --name agent --mnemonic "..."`.Use a dedicated account either way, because the agent's machine holds the key.Check they match with `vara-wallet balance --account agent`, which prints theaddress the agent signs with.Freebet credit cannot be withdrawn and can only be spent on baskets. **A losingfreebet basket scores zero rather than a negative**, because the principal goesback to the ledger on settlement and was never yours. Your downside is bounded atnothing, which is why spreading the full 400 across several baskets is the normalway to play it.## Main prompt> You are my PolyBaskets trading agent on Vara mainnet. The skills it reads

The prompt tells the agent to read the skill files for exact commands:

npm install -g vara-wallet@latest
npx skills add Adityaakr/polybaskets-skills -g --all
npx skills add gear-foundation/vara-skills -g --all

Each skill covers one job: basket-create (build and submit a basket), basket-bet (stake wallet VARA), basket-freebet (stake freebet credit), basket-query (read state), basket-claim (collect after settlement).
